Renewing Energy Sourcing Forum

Message to the Smart Energy Decisions Community,

We’re excited to announce the development of a platform for our community utilizing the latest in communications and event management technology for facilitating virtual events including one-to-one meetings.

This means all of our 2020 events will continue as planned with some held physically (when possible) and others – when necessary – held virtually. Responding to the challenges associated with COVID 19 has illuminated the power of virtual meetings and the opportunity to leverage technology in a more effective way than previously possible. We’re confident our platform will be the next best thing to being face to face for learning, connecting and doing business, while providing the personalized service our community has come to expect from SED events.

We’re grateful for the input from our SED Virtual Platform Taskforce including representatives from Bristol Myers, Cargill, CSX, Goldman Sachs, IBM, ITW, Kingspan, Viacom CBS, MP2 Energy, 3Degrees, Constellation, Enel, Duke Energy Renewables / REC Solar, and Edison Energy.

Based on their input, the platform has been designed to meet the needs of the entire community. As with our in-person events, each virtual event will feature the opportunity to experience SED’s trademark cutting edge content, connect with peers and conduct one-to-one strategic meetings with leading industry suppliers that can help you succeed.

Our commitment to your success doesn’t pause during tough times. We’re looking forward to helping you advance projects and achieve your sustainability goals at our physical and virtual events in spite of the obstacles before us.

With Gratitude,

John Failla

The Supplier Forum Experience

One to One Meetings

You’ll meet directly with renewable energy buyers who want to hear what you have to say. During our scheduling process, you’ll have the opportunity to match your capabilities with appropriate buyers to ensure your meetings are productive. The intimate atmosphere at our events delivers plenty of time to conduct business, and the chance to learn more about buyers’ specific needs and challenges.

Business conversations

Engage with Qualified Buyers

When selecting our participants, we work hard to make sure the buyers are well qualified as having an active interest in renewable energy sourcing. We focus on factors such as decision-making authority, timeframe for making a purchase and the types of projects they are interested in. You have access to all of this data so you can avoid mismatches during your one to one meetings. Our goal is always to create the most productive possible experience for supplier sponsors.

Networking

Unparallelled Networking

The quality of the networking you’ll experience at our events is unlike anything else in the industry. It’s mutually understood that your pre-scheduled meetings with buyers will be where business takes place. This removes the pressure you experience at every other event to get a word in edgewise where ever you can. The networking is relaxed and comfortable allowing you to expand current relationships and form new ones.
